Christiane
From Berlin, Christiane is a dancer and teacher of Argentine Tango (she has appeared in several stage performances and has been dancing at the Berlin Dinner Show for many years). Following a figure skating career spanning 20 years, she is now dedicated to dance. Christiane trained in ballet and contemporary dance in Germany and in Spain, where she also went to music school. It was while she was studying physical education and Spanish philology that she travelled to Argentina and first discovered Tango in 2005.
She never gets tired taking classes for further development. Amongst others she studied with Giselle-Anne and Gustavo Naveira, Chicho Frúmboli, Moira Castellano and Gaston Torelli, Carolina Bonaventura and Francisco Forquera.
She dances and teaches with diferent dancers in diferent ocasions, like seminars and Tangotours. She regularly gives classes at Mala Junta, one of the most famous dancing studios of Berlin.
Susanne
Susanne Mühlhaus has been teaching tango since 2010 and started doing so in Buenos Aires, of all places. Eight times she went to Bueonos Aires, completed two tango teacher training courses, took seminarios with Gustavo Naveira, Mariano Chicho Frúmboli and others. She organizes the weekly milongas SUR in Munich (for 10 years now – every Sunday), also runs a milonga near the Alps in Schlehdorf and classes in Murnau. Susanne is well-versed in body works techniques suitable for tango such as Yoga, Feldenkrais, Qi Gong. She teaches tango to people from all walks of life and all ages from 10 - 90+ years. Besides, she is a long-time writer for the magazine Tangodanza and author of the book series „Maestros of Argentine Tango“. „In Tango, for me, connection is the most important and truly magical element. How to establish, maintain and intensify connection is central to my teaching.“
Kirstin
Kirstin Söndgerath started with tango in the mid-90s in Buenos Aires, where she spent several years following her philology studies. Later stations led her to the Taunus, Amsterdam and Cologne, where she ran her own tango school La Pista until the end of 2021. Besides regular courses and milongas, she organized numerous events with live music and guest teachers. Since 2005 she has been guiding tango tours and seminars in Germany and abroad, among others with renowned European and Argentinean colleagues such as Diego Riemer, Damián Essell and El Flaco Dany. She currently lives and teaches in Switzerland, where she also works as a health coach and for two charitable organizations. Her teaching is characterized by many years of experience and a precise analysis of movement and communication processes, which she conveys with great sensitivity and humor. In addition to her dance and didactic training, she has a strong musical background and therefore places great emphasis on musicality and harmonious flow of movement.
George
After many years dancing Salsa and other Latin dances such as Cha Cha and Bachata, Giorgos discovered Tango Argentino in 1997. Since then he has been passionately devoted to this dance. He travelled to Buenos Aires several times to learn directly from great teachers such as Naveira, Balmaceda and Chicho. In 2002 he began teaching tango in his home town of Heraklion. He is an important member of the tango scene in Heraklion and has been organizing tango holidays in Plakias (Souda) since 2014.
Ulla
Ulla began dancing Tango in 1993 and started teaching in 1995. She has been running Tango Colon in Cologne, one of the biggest Milongas in Germany, along with her partner Stevan, since1999.Ulla had a dedication and passion for tango that began from the very first moment and is still as strong today. Her favorite way of dancing is tango in close embrace, but each partner has enough space to move and doesn't feel any limit.
